So, I asked for a Riera Menu, toasted traditional paysan's thick slice of bread with sobrassada spread on it and two pieces of French Brie cheese on top. It arrived almost cold to the table and the cheese was not melt at all. Sobrassada quality: excellent. Cheese quality: excellent. If this cheese would arrive with hot sobrassada, with the cheese melting on top of it, it could be a 5-star scoring. The service was excellent, very friendly, quick and professional. ”

The service was very quick, with each course being served immediately after the preceding course was finished. The price for a fixed lunch menu is very reasonable for the quality of food and service. Especially as both coffee and dessert are included in the menu, which is very rare For the first course, we had a salad with grilled cheese on toast and grilled vegetables with tuna, anchovies and olives on toast. Both dishes were good and exactly the right portion to set you up for the second course. We had grilled rabbit with fried potatoes and mushrooms and butifara with fried potatoes for seconds. Again, both dishes were good. It is very easy to over cook and dry out rabbit so I was pleased that Lea Voltes served it tender and juicy. The butifara, which Carles had, was well cooked and you could tell from the taste that it was good quality meat. For dessert we had chocolate cake and malimatu. The chocolate cake was just slightly dry but really really delicious The house vine was quite strong and we were both a bit tipsy after the meal We went out today because we both needed a "pick me up" and we're glad that Les Voltes provided this We will definitely go back. ”
